My name is Logan Garner. I am poet of place living and writing on Oregon's north coast - a pretty terrific place at that.
Poetry isn't some lofty, distant artifact. It's earthy. Gritty and grassroots. It's for us to get our hands dirty while we dig into the things that matter.
If you will, please reread my previous words...Can you tell what matters to this poet? Nature. Access. Art for art's sake.
Tupelo Press cares for these too. A prestigious, independent, non-profit press, for seventeen years their mission has been to publish new voices. They are giving my work some exposure, and bringing me into a community of over 350 alumni helping each other to publish and grow.
