Randi Clemens's Fundraiser
30 Days, 30 Poems, 30 Years Old
Help me meet my goal!
Help support me as I write a poem for each day of February -- the month I turn 30 years old!
Writing is an incredibly important part of my life. It has
been my creative outlet, my voice when I didn’t have one, my favorite way
to learn about myself and the world, and a bridge for connecting with others. For these reasons, I have decided to participate in Tupelo
Press’s 30/30 Project as a way to establish a better writing habit and routine
for myself. If I can write a poem a day for 30 days, why couldn’t I do it every
day after that? Coincidentally, I’m turning 30 years old in February and by doing the 30/30 Project the transition
into my thirtieth year can mean something more to me. Every dollar gives me the confidence to write more and propel this project forward. Not
only that, but Tupelo Press is an excellent press publishing excellent authors.
AND they’re giving me this opportunity to share some of my rawest work with the
world.
Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
Help me to support this distinguished press and make my 30th birthday month extra special!
