Hey there!
It's Linda Sands. I'm so excited to be a part of the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project where I've been asked to draft a poem a day for the entire month of November while raising funds. Will you help me?
Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
Every dollar gives me confidence to (get out of bed) write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books.
I'll be pulling cards and charms, talking to the beasties and hitting the woods for daily ideas. But I'm also looking to you, my sponsors, for inspiration. Some of you may want to donate so I won't write about you- some may want to buy up every day for a chance at daily odes to Dick or Tom or Harry. Each sponsor will be personally thanked and have access to a peek behind the scenes of this challenge.
But wait. There's more! I'll be offering special perks to those who donate $75, super special perks to those who donate $100 and if you donate $200 or more, you're in the super duper range of goodness. (No tap dancing bears, but damn close.)
