Emily Ahmed (she/her) is an emerging writer previously published in Running Dog, Plentitudes, Sienna Solstice, and Trampoline Poetry. She was a finalist for the Etel Adnan Poetry Prize in 2019 for her chapbook manuscript On Distance, which is now a forthcoming book by Elyssar Press for 2024.

As someone who is publishing their first collection through a small indie press, I know how important they are to the literary world! Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month as well as support for other writers and artists who look to small presses for publishing opportunities.

Tupelo Press's challenge of 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
