Poetry. Still here. Still relevant. Still rad.

30 poems in 30 days. Whoa. Can I even do this? Yes. Will I be emotionally void at the end of it? Probably also yes. It's when you push past the notion that you have given everything you have to give, past whatever writer's block is, past sanity and logic (neither are necessary for poetry) that you get to the real spicy good stuff that's been marinating for years or centuries in your grey matter. I'm really excited for this masochism!

At first, when I thought of fundraising for this project, I baulked. I have been donating to mental health causes, First Nations organizations, and LGBTQIA+ causes myself, and I became nervous at the prospect of asking my friends and family for money for this little ole project. But the truth is that I love to do this. It is my favourite thing in the world. Art continues to fulfil me, save me, and make my life extra meaningful. And it does that for many people. Consider giving this press a boost. It's a great one and it produces beautiful art. Plus, I'll love you forever if you help me out (but I'll do that anyway).
