Accompanied by a cohort of fine poets all writing thirty poems in thirty days, we will generate new work that is ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Short Bio:
Jessica Kinnison's work has appeared in Columbia Journal, Phoebe, SWIMM, and The Southern Humanities Review, among other publications. A 2018 Kenyon Review Peter Taylor Fellow, her story "Star Party" placed second in the 2019 Tennessee Williams Festival Short Short Fiction Contest. Her work has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. In April 2020, she was listed among "Eight New Orleans Poets to Watch" in POETS & WRITERS. She holds an MFA from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, where she earned the Best Thesis in Fiction award, and a BA from Loyola University New Orleans. A Mississippi native, she is co-founder of the New Orleans Writers Workshop. She is currently at-work on her first full-length poetry manuscript.
