Hello everybody! Jonie McIntire here, Poet Laureate of Lucas County, Ohio, and Poetry Editor at Of Rust and Glass. You probably know my most recent chapbook, Semidomesticated (re-released by Sheila-Na-Gig Editions, 2022) won Red Flag Poetry’s 2020 chapbook contest and my prior chapbooks are Beyond the Sidewalk (Nightballet Press, 2017) and Not All Who Are Lost Wander (Finishing Line Press, 2016). You might also know me as the Membership Chair at Ohio Poetry Association. Of course you know I host the wildly popular poetry reading series called Uncloistered Poetry from Toledo, Ohio. As always, you can find out what I'm up to at https://www.joniemcintire.net.

So I needed to get moving with my writing but I also love supporting fine presses that do good work and build our literary community. Tupelo Press' 30/30 is the perfect way for me to challenge myself to write 30 new poems in 30 days, but also make sure Tupelo Press can get the funds they need to be able to keep publishing new voices and creating new literary challenges! Your support gives me vital inspiration to keep the words flowing for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
