You know that feeling you have—that aortic-deep ache; that grain of sand your throat grinds endlessly away at; that emptiness in your chest so hollow, you swear you can hear the wind banshee wailing through you; that can't-eat-can't-sleep-can't-breathe, star-pupiled, heart-might-burst-and-splatter-ribcage-pink love? The one that, surely, no one has felt before?

Art, and poetry in particular, reminds us: WE ARE NOT ALONE. We all want to feel seen and understood. That's what poetry does for me. That's what I hope it does for anyone who reads my poems. That's what it means to support poets, poetry, and the presses/journals who serve as the bridge between writer and reader.

I'm Kait Quinn! I'm a legal assistant by day, prolific poet by night, amateur playlist curator, and a lover of autumn-scented candles, October, animals, and all things aquatic.

I'm challenging myself to write 30 poems in 30 days to prioritize my writing in a year where other responsibilities have taken priority. Knowing that my words can also raise financial support for an independent literary press is the extra motivational cherry on top.

Your support gives me inspiration to write 30 poems in 30 days!

Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!

I cannot thank you enough for reading my work and supporting Tupelo Press, and I hope you'll enjoy some exclusive content and a poetry postcard as a thank you.
