Lane Falcon is a poet who lives in Virginia with her two children. This sample of poetry is from "Deep Blue Odds", her first manuscript submitted for publication. Individual poems from Deep Blue Odds have been published in American Poetry Journal, antiBODY: An Online Anthology of Poetry & Medicine, The Carolina Quarterly, The Chattahoochee Review, The Journal, Medical Literary Messenger, New York Quarterly, Spoon River Poetry Review, Poet Lore, and Stirring.
