I'm working with Tupelo Press in September 2022 to write 30 poems in 30 days along with 10 other volunteer poets! This is a great way to fundraise for a distinguished press while also getting my poetry out there.
As a graduate of Lesley University's MFA program, I'd really love to continue to publish; however, after taking a long break from publishing my poems to improve my voice and style I've found it a little more difficult to do so. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, so I see this month as a way back into the poetry world, while also helping a press that makes it a point to publish under-heard voices- women, LGBTQ+ folks, BIPOC poets, and poets of many nationalities. Poets like me are published by Tupelo Press.
If you donate any amount, I'd be happy to write you a poem on any topic that you pick during my month of writing 30 poems! I will reach out to each person who donates in order to see if they'd like me to write them a poem.
Thanks so much for your support!
