I began writing poetry in high school and quickly started taking creative writing classes in college, where I went on to be a featured poet in multiple poetry readings and named one of Nebraska's best emerging poets by the Z Poetry Anthology.
Since college, I have struggled to carve out time to write every day while working full-time jobs and trying to find a "career," whatever that means.
I feel so lucky to have been chosen to participate in this project and experience daily growth in my poetry. I hope to use this space to experiment with form and meditate on my own creative process.
