Regina DiPerna's Fundraiser
I'm committed to writing 30 poems in 30 days
Cheer me on with a donation as I process my traumaaaaaa!
For the month of July, I'll be writing 30 poems in 30 days. Why?
- To generate new poetry. I've been battling constant, low-level writer's block for months (years?). I am hoping to create a Cambrian explosion of new work to re-invigorate my entire process.
- To raise money for Tupelo Press. Supporting 30/30 poets is a wonderful way to raise money for Tupelo, a small, independently-run poetry press. These funds help them publish new titles each year (and the world needs more poetry).
- To experiment. Writing under daily deadlines is a great way to push my stylistic, topical, and even emotional limits. I want to take risks that challenge the status quo (patriarchy, capitalism, MFA programs, etc). I want to share my work in its most raw, vulnerable form. I want to write bad poems and good poems and frightening poems and embarrassing poems—I want to write poems that are alive.
To support me as I run my poetry marathon this month, please donate! You can also share this work on social media (@reginadiperna on Instagram) to spread the word. Thank you so much.
