$110 towards $350

Hello!

My name is Eniko Deptuch Vaghy. I am a poet, editor, educator, (sometimes) artist, podcaster, and PhD student, and I am beyond honored to announce that I will be participating in Tupelo Press’s 30/30 fundraising project in June.

The 30/30 project will give me the opportunity to support Tupelo Press (which I have admired for a very long time) and independent publishing (a realm that I firmly believe in and am committed to protecting). It will also give me the chance to completely delve into my craft and share my writing process/life with you all. My goal is to make this process as communicative as possible—poems sometimes seem to stem from utterly ethereal places and my goal is to reveal how poems are informed and birthed from the extraordinary pleasure, joy, grace, and heartbreak of the every day.

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days in June. Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press.

My goal will be to raise $350 for the month of June, which means that my daily goal will be 12 dollars. By choosing to help me reach my goal, you will also be getting some sweet gifts—behind the scenes photos/videos/diary entries and swag (exact details on these rewards TBD, but they’ll be good, I promise!). I feel so fortunate to be able to convey my love of poetry and independent publishing with all of you. June cannot come soon enough!

With love always,

Eniko
