Shannon Vare Christine’s work has been featured in the Moonstone Press anthology, Poems of Protest and Resistance: Volume 1, as well as in Ambient Heights, A Collective Anthology. This summer she was accepted into The Community of Writers Poetry Intensive, and spent time in a week-long workshop, writing and learning alongside fellow poets. She recently finished writing a chapbook, and is currently working on a second one, as well as editing her verse novella.

When not writing, she devotes her time to teaching High School English in Bucks County, PA. For the last 23 years, she has brought her passion for poetry to her students, and hosts an Annual Student Open Mic Night. Ultimately, Shannon looks forward to starting a small press for the students attending her high school, with plans to expand these opportunities to students in neighboring communities.Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
