I donated in support of this campaign.
In a world of competition and comparisons, it is ultimately creativity and connection that makes us, us. Our many distinct, unique, and valuable personalities, hobbies, and characteristics enable us to leave our mark on the relationships we cultivate and foster. Poetry is one way to enhance and maintain these characteristics that makes us, us. For me, creating poetry helps me stay in touch with my spirit, and the collaborative nature of the writing and sharing process keeps me connected with my peers. When I create and connect, I feel and come alive. That is why I am participating in the Tupelo Press’ 30/30, where I will write a poem each day for thirty days and raise money for creativity and the independent press of Tupelo.
Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.
Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press by considering donating today. Thank you!
