$500 towards $500

Hello, lovers of presses that publish great works and supporters of the arts! During the month of December I'll be writing poems in support of Tupelo Press!

They provide the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Some of my favorites from Tupelo are: Aimee Nezhukumatahil, Ilya Kaminsky and Maggie Smith.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!

Just a few words about me...then please donate what you can. :)

I teach at the Community College of Denver, avoiding driving as much as I can to roam the front range by bike, bus, train, camping or hiking.

Winner of the 2018 Progenitor Poetry Prize for best poem, other past publications include two chapbooks, In a Heart’s Rut (HighFive press), Maybe This is How Tides Work (Finishing Line Press), and one book, All Points Radiant (WordTech, Cherry Grove Editions), and other journals.
