30 Poems in 30 Days, Because Poetry Matters

Sharing 30 days in a row of poetry — in public, every day — is a frightening thing. But, it's worth it, to help poetry reach and resonate with a broader audience.

Tupelo Press is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit press that publishes a diverse range of poetry, creative nonfiction, and literary fiction.

In the 30/30 Project, they provide the space for a group of poets every month to share what we create every day for thirty days -- and your donation to Tupelo Press not only helps inspire us as poets to keep going through the month, but also helps the Press keep publishing diverse, beautiful voices.

As for what you'll see from me this month? My poetry, like my prose, my podcast, and like my life more broadly, centers around horse racing. It explores the horses, the life and times and sights and sounds of the racetrack, and the effects they have on us.
