Poetry Writing Marathon: My Poems Make a Difference
Help me meet my goal, please give to Laura's Writeathon today.
Friends, poets, family, please give Tupelo some dollars and support my poetry-writing marathon. Your support gives me inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.
Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been published by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
For your donation, you'll get the option of giving me a writing topic and an electronic collection of 17 poems, a very limited edition chapbook.
Every dollar encourages me to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me help this distinguished press. Give today!
I've asked you all on Facebook to contribute per poem. I'm going for 30 poems. Please fill in your total donation. If I don't write as many poems as I said (and it's not because of a tragic illness or injury), I'll make up the difference in what you promised per poem and how many I wrote. So please contribute at least 25cents per poem and on up. Roland says he's in for $1.25 a poem. That means he'll pony up $40. Marcee's in. Morgan's in. Cecily's in. Lori Martin's in. Josie and Debby are in. Roy's contributing. So is Jeffrey Glenn and so is my cousin Cam! Can't wait to see who else has got my back.
