Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month. As many of you know, I have a day job as a nerd wrangler in events for Red Hat. However, my calling has always been in writing, and I am taking this opportunity to exercise my creative muscle as well as to fundraise for a quality literary press.
I'm excited by the opportunity to give you a daily view of new work created everyday for a month. It's also a bit daunting to know that I'll be accountable to you and other readers to create work while doing my ever-busy day job along with balancing mothering responsibilities to Hayden and Gandalf.
Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
