Teacher by day, writer by habit - these are a few ways I try to better the world around me. Without discipline, though, it's very easy to push poetry aside and worry over the meaningful complexities of being an educator.
For the month of April, Tupelo Press will provide a platform, and I - accompanied by other fine poets - will bring thirty new poems in thirty days! 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks; meanwhile, the writers have fundraised so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
Every view gives me confidence to write more, and every donation helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me reach this goal. Give today!
