Poet Bio: William David Ross grew up in the North Country of Vermont & thought the "Big Apple" a perfect place to strike out on his own. While in NYC, he earned a M.F.A. from Columbia University in poetry.

He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature, a Master of Art and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Curriculum. Will taught high school English for several years before becoming the English Department Chair at Watchung Hills Regional High School. He is now the Career and College Readiness Coordinator for Bound Brook School District, both New Jersey public school districts.

Because of New Jersey's endless potholed Route's and thickets of jug handles that briar both suburban and urban landscapes with a thorny nearly impassable overgrowth, his current manuscript is called Among the Rubble, Graces. And he has a chapbook in the works called April Fool, sure to cop a line or objective correlative from T.S. Eliot. Will's writing has appeared since 1991 in various journals & presses. He writes daily whether ditty-tripe or worth a rat's ass, he just must the poetry.

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
