Jen Stewart Fueston's Fundraiser
Donate to Tupelo Press in honor of my poem-a-day project this October!
I hope you'll follow along
Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.
This is my third time writing for Tupelo's 30/30 Project, and I am so excited to participate during my favorite month of the year, October! This project is I return to again and again because the act of writing poems is one of the primary ways I try to engage meaningfully with the world around me. With the tumultuous political events that surround us, there is great need for contemplation, careful reading and attentiveness -- all of which poetry teaches me, both as a reader and a writer. I hope that my work this month will both help me live deeply into our present historical moment, and might also help my readers open their eyes & hearts to more deeply to experience.
For those who donate, I can offer a few goodies by way of thanks:
$5 - $24 donation -- a thank you written on a cool vintage National Parks WPA era postcard
$25 - $49 donation -- a postcard and a handwritten copy of one poem from Oct 2018 (your choice which)
$50 donation -- a copy of my first chapbook "Visitations" (Finishing Line Press 2015)
More than $50 -- a copy of my chapbook AND a copy of "All We Can Hold: A collection of poems on motherhood," (Sage Hill Press 2016) which includes a poem of mine alongside some really fabulous writers
