Poet Bio: Anu Mahadev is a left brained software engineer- turned right brained creative poet! Originally from India, she is now based out of New Jersey, with her husband and son. She is a 2016 MFA graduate of Drew University and a prolific writer. Her work has been published in the Olentangy Review, the Wild Word, (b)OINK magazine, Sonic Boom journal, Silver Birch Press, the Electronic Pamphlet, the Tin Lunchbox Review, DIN magazine and Amomancies magazine. In addition, her poems have also found a home in a few anthologies such as Cloudburst and the Goddess book. Other words to describe her are dreamer, choir singer, social bee, book and movie addict, avid hiker, lifelong learner and traveler. She is currently Editor-in-Chief for Jaggery Lit, (www.jaggerylit.com) an online publication for the South Asian diaspora, the Managing Editor for QuillsEdge Press (www.quillsedgepress.org), a press devoted to publishing poetry of women over the age of 50, as well as The Woman Inc, (www.thewomaninc.com), an online women's magazine.
