Help keep small, non-profit presses alive! Support Tupelo Press!
Join me and help make a difference. Please give today.
For reasons that remain unclear to me, I've signed up for Tupelo Press's 30/30 Project, a poetry marathon where I'll attempt to write 30 poems in 30 days! That's one poem every day(!), which feels either wildly ambitious or mildly unhinged. Really, though, it's an opportunity to spend a month saying yes to creativity, yes to curiosity, and yes to the daily practice of paying attention, and that's kind of exciting.
I'm doing it in support of Tupelo Press, an independent nonprofit literary press that helps bring new voices into the world and fosters a vibrant literary community. As a writer, teacher, and lover of poetry, I know how important these spaces are, not only for the artists they support, but also for the readers and communities they bring together.
If you'd like to support my 30/30 journey (and read some really rough first drafts of my poems), I'd be grateful for a donation of any size. Your generosity helps ensure that poetry continues to find new readers, new voices, and new ways to help us connect.
Thanks for your support!
