This is my first time doing the 30/30 Project, and I am excited for the journey. Come along and join me on this journey. I have just (or nearly just) finished my term as Poet Laureate of Silver City/Grant County, and I am excited for the next adventure (also if you get the chance to visit New Mexico--I strongly recommend it).
I will be writing a poem a day with 8 other talented poets, so including me--there will be 9 poets writing each day. Oftentimes, writing can feel a solitary act, and so it is with a project like this that we can celebrate community as well as support Tupelo Press.
