Independent non-profit presses keep literary voices diverse!
Join me and help make a difference, please give today.
As a nonbinary immigrant, poet, and medical student, I spend my days moving between two worlds that both center on healing. In medicine, I learn how to care for the body. In poetry, I try to care for the parts of us that medicine alone can’t reach.
The Tupelo Press 30/30 Project gives poets the chance to share new work each day for an entire month, building a living conversation with readers while raising funds for a press that champions independent voices. Being part of this program means committing to writing and publishing thirty brand-new poems in thirty days — an intense, joyful challenge that pushes creativity, discipline, and vulnerability.
Your support helps sustain Tupelo Press and the community of writers and readers it brings together. Independent presses make space for stories that might otherwise go unheard, and every donation helps keep that space alive.
If my poems have ever resonated with you, made you pause, or helped you feel a little less alone, I’d be grateful for your support during this journey. Thank you for helping keep poetry — and the communities it builds — alive.
