Poet Bio: Sean Thibodeau is a librarian who holds degrees from U Maine Farmington and Simmons College. His writing has appeared in The Lowell Sun, Howl Magazine, Super Arrow, and Young Angel Midnight. He lives in Lowell, MA with his wife and two children.

Author Statement: I write poetry to better know my own mind, to investigate language, and to celebrate the power of place. If I could paint, I'd be a painter. But I write. I'm interested in musicality and in outlining landscapes that are both beautiful and true. Along the way, I love to surprise myself and believe strongly in serendipity—so I try to keep my mind open and allow myself shameless wonder.

I'm thrilled to be a part of this project to support the mission and community around Tupelo Press and to reignite the pilot light for my poetic voice, which has become cold under the chilling rain of procrastination and quotidian responsibilities.

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
