Scott Burnam's Fundraiser

We can help independent, non-profit presses stay vibrant and support new voices!
More than ever, it’s time to support the arts.
Scott Burnam’s affliction with poetry began when, as a stage actor in college, he grew tired of mouthing others’ words. More than thirty years later, he remains grateful for the analog escape from the digital world that poetry provides.
A native upstate New Yorker, Scott now lives in Phoenix, Arizona, after a 17-year transformation in Ohio’s Miami Valley, where he met his wife and they raised two of their three children (the third being a work-in-progress about to begin high school in the Sun Valley).
Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.
Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month. New, daily poems from the 30/30 group are posted on the Tupelo Press website each day. Check it out--and feel free to return to the page over the course of the month to read new poems.
Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me support this distinguished press. Give today!
