G.Z. Hauptman 's Fundraiser

Support Tupelo's 30/30 Project!
Support the arts! Sponsor a poem today!
My names G. Zach Hauptman, and I am a librarian of over a decade as well as an award-winning poet. I’m honored to share that Tupelo Press has selected me for their 30/30 Project this May — a poetry marathon where I’ll be writing 30 poems in 30 days to raise support for independent, nonprofit publishing. Every day in May, I’ll be sharing brand-new poems — first drafts, you'll be on the cutting edge — on Tupelo’s site. I invite you to follow along in the creative process with me.
We know how fragile creative spaces can be. Funding for the arts has been uncertain for most of my lifetime, and the current administration is attempting to strip money from the arts, starting with every organization that supports underserved and marginalized artists.
Still, poetry persists. We persist.
Tupelo Press is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting poets from all walks of life. Their support of poets like me is not guaranteed by institutions or systems. It's made possible by people like you who believe that art matters.
Consider sponsoring me for 1 dollar per poem-- sponsor one poem (1 dollar), a week (7 dollars), or the whole month (just 30 dollars!).
If you're feeling a little fancy, donate 10 dollars or more and I will write one of my poems on a general topic of your choice!
If you're feeling even fancier, donate 25 dollars or more, and I will write a personalized poem for you!
For a 100 dollar sponsorship, Not only will you be sponsoring a personalized poem, I will compile a personalized booklist of poets, authors, or books on any topic you like. Interested in history and don't know where to start? Having trouble finding the perfect new series? Want to collect gourmet gluten-free cookbooks from France?
