$900 towards $751

I am thrilled to participate in the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project once again! The community, growth, and support I have found here are invaluable to me as a writer and as a person. Tupelo Press supports and amplifies a diverse group of writers. They also provide opportunities for teens and young people just finding their voice.

This year, volunteer poets who raise more than $750 have the opportunity to immerse themselves in their craft via a short writing residency in the Upper Peninsula. This is a dream near and dear to my heart. Will you help me get there?

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas; I bring my words, accompanied by a cohort of fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 200 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!

Cathy Ferrell is a poet, writer, and educator from Central Florida. She finds inspiration in walking (anywhere), family, and the Sandhill cranes in her yard. She enjoys simplicity of form and complexity of language, torrential downpours, and tiny cups of Cuban coffee–the stronger the better. Her work can be found online at Red Noise Collective, Quibble.Lit, sinkhole, and Compulsive Reader, and in the scholarly collection, Shakespeare and Latinidad, edited by Trevor Boffone and Carla Della Gotta.
