Poet Bio: Mitchell Garrard has spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest, where he calls home. He graduated from The Evergreen State College with a focus in Poetics. Since then, he's been performing manual labor and writing. Currently, he lives in Boulder, CO, with his fiance, selling handbags. He hopes again to live among the trees. He has been a featured editor on Everyday Genius, and further work can be found can be found in Baldhip Magazine, Otoliths, Shuf Poetry, S/Word, and Word For/Word, among many others. Through poetry, he hopes that the landscape of language can be disrupted, culture be jammed, and signs can be rewritten--rebuilt to create a world of deeper understanding and meaningful, senseless communication.

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
