Poet Bio: Rosanne Osborne holds the Ph.D. in English from the University of Alabama and the MFA from Spalding University. She grew up in Missouri but has lived most of her adult life in Louisiana. Her work has appeared in Tar River Poetry, Alabama Review, Christian Century, Ruminate, Thema, Penwood Review, and The Village Pariah.

Author Statement: Poetry for me is a way to explore the way I process the past and the present, sometimes the future. I like placing an image or phrase on the potter's wheel of my mind, rotating it until it takes on a life of its own. This month, I'm reading the novels that have appeared on the long list of nominees for the British Booker 2016 prize in fiction. I'll play with the images and ideas that emerge from my reading, always looking for ways one mind sparks a new possibility in another mind.

Your support gives me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month.

Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this distinguished press. Give today!
