I am so excited to write 30 poems in 30 days this September to support Tupelo Press! Sometimes it is a challenge to write one poem in 30 days, so writing one a day is a huge push, but one I am ready for.

Tupelo Press is a small press that I have admired for years because they have published some amazing writers. I truly believe that art of all kinds nourishes our world, keeps us more alive, invites us to see things from different perspectives, and inspires our own creativity. Time and time again, Tupelo Press brings readers that inspiration and for that reason, I want to support it. They have given me the opportunity to raise money for them by challenging me to write 30 poems in 30 days. These may not be polished poems, but I'm going to write regularly and make them the best poems I can.

Every dollar you donate to Tupelo Press motivates me to write more which supports my own poetry, my writing craft, and helps Tupelo Press continue with its amazing publishing work as a small press. Please support my work and Tupelo's with a gift. AND, if you donate, you will also get a small gift from me!

With any and every donation, if you share your email with me, I will email you a brief weekly newsletter during the month of September about my journey writing a poem every day that's fit enough to share publicly that will include a small encouraging writing prompt from my blog at WriteYourButterfly.com.

With a $15 donation, you will get the weekly newsletter during the month of September (emailed to you) in addition to one sticker mailed to you with a copy of one of the poems I write for the month (PLEASE include your mailing address).

With a $25 donation, you will get the weekly newsletter during the month of September (emailed to you), one sticker, a bookmark that says Write Your Butterfly and a copy of one of the poems I write for the month. (PLEASE include your mailing address).

With a $40 or more donation, you will get the weekly newsletter during the month of September (emailed to you), two different stickers, a bookmark that says Write Your Butterfly and a copy of one of the poems I write for the month. (PLEASE include your mailing address).

Your support will give me vital inspiration as I write for thirty days this month. For the 30/30 project, Tupelo Press provides the canvas, I bring my words, accompanied by other fine poets, writing thirty poems in thirty days, all ours to edit and submit as we wish. 30/30 poems have been taken by over 90 journals and featured in over 40 published chapbooks, all so Tupelo Press can keep publishing exquisite and diverse voices that might never be heard otherwise.

Every dollar gives me confidence to write more, and helps the press place more poems in gorgeous books. Help me to help this awesome small press. Please give today!

BRING IT, SEPTEMBER! I'VE GOT THE POETRY!
